Today, Apple officially unveiled macOS 26. And yes, as rumored, it’s called Tahoe. But one of the first questions most Mac people always ask is: Will my Mac support it? If that’s you, here’s the full compatibility list.
Alongside iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and the rest of the renamed OS lineup, macOS 26 brings the new Liquid Glass refreshed look, new Continuity experiences with the Phone app and Live Activities, improved Spotlight, and the new Games app.
However, as expected, the system drops support for a few older models. Here’s the full list of Macs that will be able to run macOS Tahoe 26, according to Apple’s official list:

As with past updates, even if your Mac makes the cut, certain features (especially those powered by Apple Intelligence) may still be limited to more recent models.
